My students are learning virtually, all day, every day. These materials will allow them to have printed books in their hands as we read together. We will be able to see each other on our screens, while we have the books in our hands. Once schools open again, we will continue to use these books to learn about and understand ancient civilizations in an engaging way with age appropriate resources. Mary Pope Osborne's Magic Tree House books help children understand, and visualize what life was like in Ancient Rome, China, Egypt, and Greece. They provide a portal for gaining appreciation of ancient cultures, and a pathway for more learning. Mrs. Osborne's books have always been favorites in my classroom, and I'm so grateful for her contributions to education.
