My students will benefit from the laptop in that I use it for everything! I use it for course planning, parent/student communication, maintaining a course website, creating and presenting content in the classroom, grading and record keeping. My special needs students will directly benefit from this laptop through the images, maps, videos, and up-to-the-minute information that having access to technology and internet in the classroom provides. Sadly, my school's budget does not have room to provide computers for teachers--money is allocated to other needs of our students. Students will be using the technology on a daily basis to reinforce their learning, flip classroom (learn on their own and apply concepts in class), and to catch up on work that they've missed due to being absent.
