These authentic books will help my lower grades learn to read in Spanish, develop reading fluency and open students' eyes to the beauty of the Hispanic world and culture! Young children love the gift of stories. These books are written by Hispanic authors. They are not simply a popular book published in the USA in English, then translated into Spanish. They are rich with Hispanic culture and teach valuable life lessons. These books will help my students begin their journey to become bilingual, which in today's world is so important!
