Providing these soccer balls will allow our 5th and 6th grade students to have a soccer club. Currently, our school system does not allow students from these grades to participate in competitive school sports. Starting a soccer club for these students will provide an opportunity for these students to be a part of the school athletically, without being on the competitive team. This club will help the students develop the 4 traits of a good middle school athlete. These traits are leadership, sportsmanship, teamwork, and confidence. On top of these traits, the students will undoubtedly gain a sense of school pride. All of this through the learning and performing of soccer skills.

About my class
