Headphones will allow my students to listen to online read aloud books, engage with the text, and increase attention span. The majority of my students read below grade level, so headphones will help them with phonics because they can hear and pronounce sounds. There are so many distractions in the class and at home, so the focus on learning is seeping away. Headphones can help them stay on task and focus. Students will utilize the headphones in the technology station. Students can complete their Word Study, Accelerated Reading, and various reading programs.
