My students have been learning remotely from home all year long. Reading books in Spanish has been a challenge in remote learning as libraries are closed and online literature is very limited online. Having a book in their hand will be very special as they will be able to read along with their classmates and their teacher. Reading books engages my students to learn and motivates them to attend class everyday. Reading stories that interest my students will not only foster their reading skills but will learn to appreciate reading.
