I would like my students to have the opportunity to read and learn about all cultures and for each one of us to put racism behind us and move forward into a brighter world. Equity, inclusiveness, and antiracism are at the forefront of our society now, we need to make it happen now! It needs to start now, here, today, with my class. What are we going to do about equity, inclusiveness, and antiracism? First, I am going to provide my students with books that they can use to learn how to be better citizens in this global world. Then, we will have discussions on what we could do to strive for Equity, Inclusiveness, and Antiracism where ever the world takes us.
