Since the start of the pandemic it has been hard to allow students to play on the instruments. Everything must be sanitized between uses. Many instruments cannot be sanitized because it will compromise the integrity of the instrument. Having only a few instruments to share with over 20 students makes it nearly impossible to use instruments, sanitize, and the pass them on. Students need to explore the world of music with their hands, to feel the beat flow from their finger tips. Getting this project funded and buying all of these five gallon buckets will allow an entire class to play on a makeshift drum at one time. We will only have to sanitize between classes which will allow plenty of time for the students to have their opportunity to drum. The PVC pipes will get cut down into 15 inch drumsticks. The amount of PVC will make enough pairs of drumsticks for each bucket.
