I am requesting items my students will use to build their gingerbread houses. I am also requesting vinyl and storage racks which will be made into a display that will protect the gingerbread houses and allow us to display them for our community. Students will use the reusable materials like the squeeze bottles to apply frosting and will be used in future science and STEM activities, as well as next year. The consumable materials, like the frosting, graham crackers, sprinkles, and different candy materials will allow my students to design and create gingerbread houses in small groups. These materials will allow my students the highly engaging opportunity to collaborate with peers to design and create an amazing Gingerbread House. The shelfs and vinyl will be used to create a display case to display my students products (gingerbread houses) for our community to see, and will also be used again.
