As a social worker, my role in the school is a little different. I may not have the typical classroom, but the skills that I teach will benefit students not only in their normal classrooms but in everyday life. The students I work with will utilize the social skills games and activities to work on developing positive attitudes and appropriate behaviors in and out of the classrooms and with peers and staff. These students will benefit from the stress, anxiety and depression lessons by developing tools to handle their problems in an effective way. This project will help the student work toward a more resilient future by allowing them to deal with everyday issues more positively.

About my class
