These Spanish/Bilingual books will be checked out from our library by K-2 students to read whenever they want. They will read them in class and at home. Teachers will help them pick out books on their grade level and books that help them grow in their learning journey. Our families are desperate to help their students and want them to become English speakers and readers. These books will be perfect for them. We are a Title I school who has a large number of Spanish speaking students and parents. Our goal is to have these students transition to a fully English classroom by the time they are in the 3rd grade. Reading for fun is a vital step to help them reach this goal.
