We picked a great curriculum book for this school year, Incredible Edible Science, with tons of recipes for developing science and literacy skills. We are going to see what kind of science in involved in the cooking process. We are going to learn about smell, taste, measuring, and classifying our food. We are going to create a balanced meal menu for our families. "Every child is an artist," said Pablo Picasso. They have imagination and the artistic talents and instinct. I believe in art as a therapeutic way to help kids overcome struggles and uncertainty. We have a great potential in many of our children, and we are willing to reinforce that.
