I believe that reading is the key to success. I want a classroom that welcomes all type of readers. Reading helps them to develop new words, sounds, colors, objects, and shapes. When they are exposed to a variety of books, they are able to develop healthy relationships with literature. Nurturing young minds helps to prepare them for later learning in elementary school. Not only does early childhood reading help children to develop, it helps parents and teachers prepare from a young age for difficulties in readings or learning deficiencies that can hinder their children’s ability to thrive in school.

About my class
