In our classroom, we recognize that everyone is not the same and learn differently. My students and I are always trying to incorporate the "real world" into the class. We rely on our strengths to bridge the gaps. We encourage each other to explore what weakness or difficulty we can tackle while learning or reviewing a skill. Because my students communicate differently, alternate methods are very useful in assisting them. We use different materials to demonstrate the concepts where everyone can see the creativity of what we're learning. Also, the materials chosen can be used in various settings and easily adapted to fit many different tasks.
