I am seeking storage cabinets for my classroom. These cabinets are needed to store tech equipment that is required for student performances, and instruments such as ukuleles and bells, when they are not being used in class. All grades give performances. Upper grades (3rd-5th) use the instruments I listed on a weekly basis. How would a storage cabinet benefit students? Proper organization of space and equipment that serves six separate grades is a challenge, but also a great a necessity. A clutter-free space allows focus and optimizes student experience. The items I listed above need to be kept both organized and safe: safe from dust, well-meaning substitute teachers who may not know how to properly use them, curious lower grade (k-2) students who occupy the space, and other things. Proper storage of equipment extends its lifetime, which saves the school money over time. The damage or total destruction of this equipment would also take away learning opportunities for all 3rd-5th grade students, and negatively impact the performance experience of all grades and their audiences (family, community).
