In my science classes, I love reinforcing content with hands-on lab experiments and research projects. While we offer as many labs as we can, budget restraints prevent us from conducting some of the more expensive labs from year to year. I am hoping to alleviate this issue by incorporating more virtual science labs into my classes. Therefore, we are asking for two Chromebooks that will assist us in incorporating this technology into our science classes. Using Chromebooks for virtual science labs will enable us to perform science experiments and conduct research when supplies and equipment are unavailable. This technology will provide meaningful learning experiences for my students.
