Students like to express themselves through their art. Living in a rural area can be challenging for students to get the necessary supplies to execute the final product. Our Science and Art Teacher love to have students create 3D and 2D projects and display them for the entire student body to view. When a student can create an atom model or present representations of elements from the periodic table, their learning is enriched. When the art teacher assigns sculpting or sketching assignments I want to ensure every student is able to create a masterpiece, without shame they couldn't afford the right materials. Snacks: everyone loves them, but some students need them to bridge the hunger gap from breakfast to lunch and lunch to dinner and in some instances until school breakfast the next day. Hunger is a very real issue in American today. With so many adults out of work, the most consistent food source is coming from school. I house a clothes closet with outerwear, shoes, underwear, hygiene items, school supplies, and snacks in the counseling wing. I would not be blessed to provide this service for my students without donations from generous contributors. Help me continue to make this happen for my students.
