My students all benefit from small group instruction with lots of individualized support. For my in person students, the best way to do this is by sitting with them at a table (which has been marked for social distancing) rather than standing at the front of the room by the whiteboard. With a whiteboard easel, I can write on the board while still being able to see their individual work. Students take an active role in the lesson; all students love to write on whiteboards! A mobile easel will enable me to instruct both my in-person students and virtual students. Teaching virtually is a particular challenge. Using a whiteboard easel during virtual sessions, students will be able to see the easel on the camera.
