In these crazy times of COVID, I would like my students to come back to a safe, clean and prepared classroom. The air purifier will provide my students with ease of mind so, they can focus on their reading skills. My dyslexia student are about two reading levels behind their peers so, having them be prepared with supplies will support their learning. As, students walk into my reading classroom they will grab their plastic bins with their individualist materials to start their learning day. The use of whiteboards and dry erase marks are almost a daily activity in my reading classroom, especially when it comes to practicing spelling rules and sight words strategies. Having pencils, pencil grips and index card will assist them with their handwriting and vocabulary skills. Many of my dyslexia students struggle with their letter formation so, these items will assist them with writing skills too. Having ink to print STEM stories will service my students by have a paper copy of the story in front of them. This facilitates my students so they can write down their reading notes and strategies. It also allows them to break down words they are struggling with in the story. By donating to our classroom you will not only help to improve their air quality and reading supplies but my students will be able to focus on their reading and writing endeavors.
