Here at Crystal Lake Elementary, our mascot is the "hawk.” There is truly no better representation of our students. CLE students are constantly soaring above and beyond our expectations academically and socially. Our students are kind, intelligent and deserve nothing less than the world! Music is a wonderful outlet for emotions and creative expression. Did you know that playing instruments can improve fine motor skills, relieve stress and improve brain function? And most important of all … it’s just plain fun! I am blessed with the opportunity to have a lasting impact on our students lives through music education. While we, as teachers, are building the foundation for our future presidents, astronauts and doctors. It is important to remember that we also need future music teachers, musicians, performers, directors and actors. Keeping the arts alive starts with us and it starts NOW!
