When my class receive these books, they will be able to write book reports and learn to write narratives. They will be able to practice reading standards of ask and answer questions. They will be able to determine character traits and character motivation. These common core standards are major literary standards for our grade level. A variety of titles will allow my student to choose books that they are interested in. This library of books will allow my students to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students have met goals on reading online but this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word and reading at home.
