My name is Ms C. and I am the Registered Nurse at C.D. Elementary School in southeast Fort Worth, Texas... a school of 750 kiddos where 75% of our students are refugees from other countries. My "babies", as I like to call them, come to me to meet all sorts of their needs, not only physical, but mental and psychological. By just having crayons in my office, they have something to do as they wait on their parents who may be an hour away. I love these babies and want to take the very best care I can of them. By providing first aid kits in every classroom and outside on the playgrounds, I can help ensure my kids will have immediate access to care until I can get to them as this is a very large campus. Thank you for everything and I look forward to continuing, with your help, to care for my 750 babies and to be the best school nurse I can be!!!
