The resources that I am requesting will allow my students to become better readers and writers to support their literacy development. The mobile easel will allow me to meet students in their individual student groups to support small group learning. The clipboards will allow my students to work anywhere in the room to practice writing, reading math and science activities. The writing folders will allow my students to practice using the writing process to compose literary works. All students need supports and visual aids to become better writers. With the addition of these tools to my classroom, my students will learn how to edit, draft, revise and publish independently to prepare them for third grade and beyond.
