Students have been issued school computers and will be able to choose among more modern stories than the ones currently in our possession. They will be able to read stories that interest them. They will access reading materials online that will help improve their fluency. By having access to more current reading materials, being able to provide more current (ie, not out dated and "Miss-this-is-old") resources will engage students. Engagement leads to success. Purchasing reading materials from Teachers Pay Teachers will give my students access to more up-to-date materials than are currently available in my repertoire!
