This project is two-fold. Graphic novels for our students. I appreciate that they offer reluctant readers, extra support sometimes needed to help them through the story. They appeal to kids due to the fact that the combination of text and pictures provides context for stories that they may otherwise not completely understand. Teachers will use these books to get kids excited about science, technology, engineering, and math. STEM related literature for teachers to jumpstart STEM activities. These books will be in high demand because of their popularity. They will never be sitting on the shelf. They will always be in our students’ hands.
