I teach 7th grade math in the Bronx. I currently have about 75 students in my three classes. I was teaching in person as well as streaming live to the students at home for two of my classes and one of my classes is entirely remote (at-home). As of now, I have been using my personal outdated iPad that does not have the software and is incapable of using an Apple Pencil. The technology of the iPad and the Apple pencil will most certainly help my students in their remote learning experience. There are cool sites out there that allow me to stream my lessons live such as annotate.net. I need the updated technology to give my students the education that mimics traditional learning. All of the school devices have been given out to students and the school is unable to provide me additional technology.
