With the last two years remaining fresh on the minds of students, teaching with hands-on learning opportunities is vital for the growth and understanding of science standards. I have witnessed firsthand the struggle students face in overcoming the preconceived ideas that science is "too difficult" or that they are somehow "bad at science". With the help of the requested lab kits, students will be able to see the world through hands-on experiences which will be generated through this project. The mind truly does remember better that which the hands create. Providing activities that students work through in person as well as having digital options provided for those in distance learning, will aid in bridging gaps in foundational scientific understanding for all students.
