All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind-I have watched them the past few weeks of school read titles just like these, and I have also asked them what type of books they would enjoy reading. These books will be added to a Little Free Library to help students continue to enjoy reading outside the classroom. With these new books, students will be able to choose from a variety of diverse readings that allow students to see themselves in literature. Students will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in reading and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word outside of school.
