One thing my scholars love to do is play Kahoot on flex Thursdays! One thing my work computer loves to do is glitch out while my scholars are trying to enjoy a game online. The computer provided by my job is a bit of a dinosaur and I've had my share of tech issues during the pandemic. Unfortunately, this has impacted the virtual experience that my scholars have from time to time and the school's replacements are worse. We have pushed through dropped classes, internet going in and out, and glitchy math lessons. But, I've showed up every single day this year to make sure my scholars stayed on pace with their curriculum. We are now beginning to spiral back and review what we have learned so far in 6th grade, from ratios to dividing fractions and my scholars love when we play games like Kahoot to review. Now that we are transferring into hybrid learning, I am excited to bring all of my new technology skills to the classroom.
