This school year we will be learning about theme, story elements, and cause and effect. I would like to provide my students with picture books to understand these concepts. Cause and Effect- Click Clack Moo, A Bad Case of Stripes, The Giving Tree, This is Not My Hat Story Elements- Emmanuel's Dream, The Other Side Theme- Those Shoes, The Invisible Boy, The Empty Pot, Enemy Pie The following digital resources by Jennifer Findley will help reinforce the standards throughout the school year for both my face to face and learn from home students- Reading Resources | 4th and 5th Grade Reading Activities - Distance Learning Reading Puzzles | 4th & 5th Grade Digital Reading Centers - Distance Learning Basic school supplies will also be required, such as: paper, pencils, dry erase markers and erasers.
