My students are inquisitive, energetic, and, for the most part, at a distance. This project is designed to help me put high quality digital learning materials right into their hands. The gift cards will allow me to purchase digital content suited to students' needs as we move through the year. Students need hands-on experiences and conversation to make and deepen understanding of new and difficult topics. Each of these items has been carefully selected for its use in STEM lessons. Students at a distance will benefit, too, as they work in small groups with traditional students. The posters will add meaning to ecosystem content. All items will help ignite and understanding of and passion for STEM. Boys and girls will come to see themselves as scientists, active creators of their own learning.
