I want to nurture students who are productive and kind human beings. This includes instilling in them a sense of agency. Part of agency is giving students choice. I understand that no two students are the same and want to differentiate based on their needs. Physical activity improves memory and enhances learner motivation and morale. Movement is linked to higher academic performance, better health, and improved behavior. Flexible seating allows students to be reflective and choose where they learn best. Students will be able to be active in the classroom, and as a result, have better focus and behavior. I am asking for bean bags, and a TpT gift card to purchase resources for student stations. I know my students will love to have the ability to choose and move around the room to find a place where they feel comfortable, safe, and learn best.
