These books will make a major difference in our learning, as they include themes and topics that aren't covered by our district curriculum. My dream is to deep dive into one text per week to facilitate deeper understandings of text concepts and creative thought over each week. A wide variety of diverse texts ensures an inclusive and well-rounded education for my students. Whether we continue learning online or move in person, it is important to have these books in hand so that I can teach concepts about print to my Kindergartners and continue to facilitate that love of reading.
