An iPad will allow me to bring my office and SEL lesson to all my students in their classroom or whenever they are. Today students require learning to be both varied and interesting to keep them engaged. Further, an iPad will allow me to make learning new skills both interactive as well as engaging. Social-emotional learning (SEL) allows students to learn coping skills and strategies. The successful implementation of these skills will make students more successful learners but also more empathetic citizens in their community. Amidst a pandemic, it is imperative that all students have access to SEL. An iPad offers both flexibility and options for all my students in obtaining their SEL/ counseling learning goals.
