Hello! I am setting up a classroom from scratch and I need help with some of the essentials. My students have been so flexible and patient throughout the pandemic, and I am so excited that we can get back to full-time, in-person learning. Last year, students needed to maintain 6-foot social distancing throughout the year, which meant playing games with their peers was off the table. I am hoping to provide them with lots of choices for playing games or with LEGO sets during indoor recess or free-choice time. I believe this will be a tremendous benefit to their social-emotional learning. I am hoping to order baskets and bins to organize our classroom library so students can easily find new and exciting books. I am requesting items such as birthday cards so that each student feels loved on their special day. I am also hoping to have extra school supplies on hand for students who may not be able to afford them (binders, pencils). I know how much they have missed having a "normal" school year and I want to make sure their 4th-grade experience is amazing! Thank you so much for helping me transform an empty space into something magical!
