I will use the new games, books, and prizes to inspire the students to apply themselves in competition. Middle School students like to play and compete. They also love to win prizes. We use the games to reinforce learning in areas such as vocabulary. Word games can be played at levels that the suit the individual students. The students can interact and lift each other up. We are always looking for fun and interactive ways to help our students edit their own and others' writing. I want to make this year special for my 8th graders in a way that has nothing to do with Covid 19, but we need to keep the room clean while we're having fun.
