Our students have been out of the classroom since March. We are just starting school due the pandemic and two hurricanes. Many students do not have the basic supplies needed for a successful year. These basic supplies ensure each child has an opportunity to have the materials needed for a successful school year. Due to new Covid guidelines, our students spend the majority of their day at their desk. We need the floor mats to protect our floor from damage. We need new dry erase markers to use on our marker boards to save paper. Each student also needs a personal eraser to limit contact between students. Our centers need to be laminated for easy cleaning between each student's use. Students can no longer use the class pencil sharpener, so we need an electric one so our pencils can be sharpened by one person in a shorter amount of time. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will be used to purchase learning resources for use on student iPads.
