My students love our Holocaust research unit. Even my most uninterested English students get into our research project. It leaves my students wanting to read more about the Holocaust and as a teacher there is nothing more exciting than when your students are excited about a topic. I want to take my students’ interest and run with it. I want to foster their love for reading with books that they want to read and these are two titles they have begged me to read. In a time where it is hard to get students interested in reading anything other their phones, I would love to take the opportunity to put a book in their hands that will leave an impression for a lifetime.
