As a school nurse, I see many students throughout the day. Fortunately, most school injuries are minor, and require a band aid for scrapes or and an ice pack for bumps and bruises. However, what do we do when the ice tray in our mini fridge runs out of ice? A countertop ice maker would be used daily to ease the pain and allow students to have the comfort and care they need to return to class, and an ice scoop with holder would ensure the scoop would not be left on the counter.
