Yoga mats will be used on a daily basis during guidance lessons. I serve every student in our elementary school. Recently, our kids completed a survey and the data showed that emotional regulation was our kids biggest deficits. I believe it is important that our kids learn to recognize and learn to handle their uncomfortable feelings. Practices in yoga and mindfulness will help our students with this. I would like to cover my room in yoga mats so each student has a spot when they enter my room. Thank you for your consideration.
