I am a Behavior Specialist that currently services two k-8 campus. Some of my students struggle with staying seated in the classroom, because they need the sensation of movement. The wobble chairs will help reduce that need. Students also have a hard time staying focused in class, this is the reason I am asking for hand held sensory tools that they are able to use in order to help them stay focused. I also services some students that are in need of learning Social Skills; therefore, I am asking that you help fund fun and innovative Social Skills activities and workbooks that I can use with the student and their teacher may also use. The items that I am requesting are not just to help the student but also to help teacher(s) manage behaviors in the classroom.
