As students return to in-person learning, we are faced with addressing basic needs that students are still missing. One practical and often overlooked component of schools is access to drinking water. Schools have had to change traditional 'push for water' drinking fountains into water bottle refill stations due to Covid precautions. This is a step in the right direction, but leaves many students without access to water due to lack of a reusable water bottles. This lack of bottles has now led to massive use of single-use non-recyclable cups. With your donation, you will help my students be able to hydrate throughout the day while lowering their carbon footprint. This, in turn, will help me teach my students to be stewards of not only their school, but the environment too.
