Being all remote is hard for all of us. That being said we are making the most out of it. My goal is to have a lot of home made videos by myself and the other Phys Ed teacher to show during our Google meets. Having pre made meets with a friendly face allows me to watch the students moving along with the movements. When I am able to watch each student moving with the video I can give them tips and tricks to work out and move better. Our class sizes are large and I need to run multiple programs at all times, which is why I need a computer that can keep up with all of us. Physical movement gives you endorphins and working on the same routine makes us feel like we are actually together. The Mac Book will also allow me to make videos by combining my work outs and student submitted workouts with ease. Students seeing themselves and their friends on the work out will boost their connectivity during this hard time.
