This project aims to create a sensory room for our new futures classroom, this space will serve several special education classrooms at our school. The goal of this room is to be a safe place where students can get ready to learn. If students are in the right mindset and get their sensory needs met, they will be much better learners. These materials will aid students in receiving the sensory input they are craving, and or help students modulate over-sensory input more effectively when overwhelmed. These tools will also be used alongside activities that encourage focus and attention to promote learning.

About my class
