My project is to engage students in a great conversation about how our government works. Students will be excited to participate in a campaign of their very own. My students will be answering the important question of why we vote and what it means to be a voter. We will research topics on the iPads and then create interactive ballots for my eLearner students to vote with. We will use articles and resources used from our Social Studies Alive curriculum. This is just the beginning. I want my students to see that voting is not only a right but also a privilege, and it is our duty to make informed decisions.
