Students will be able to apply what they are learning in their science classes to further their understanding and knowledge when using the resources requested. They will be able to pull the slides of plants, animals, bacteria, or human cells they have been learning about in their science classes and examine them under the microscope. They will then draw, label, discuss, and describe what they see. The goal of this proposed project is for students to be able to have a better understanding of the sciences through hands-on learning, instead of just reading and looking at pictures in a book. The students who will benefit from this proposed project have never been exposed to these technologies. Through this proposed project, students will not only be able to learn in a fun and more productive way, but they will also be exposed to more educational and job options. They will see that there is more to this world than they ever imagined!
