The biggest motivation in student learning that I have found is choice. Having the choice to chose how or where to sit will have to students take ownership on their own learning. My current classroom only has hard heavy chairs and I would love to change that. This project will make a difference in my students learning by giving them the opportunity to learn comfortably. They will feel safe to be in my classroom with different options for seating. When the students are comfortable they will maintain their focus on feeling safe and learning.
