My students in the past had the opportunity to sing in music class, unfortunately with the Coronavirus pandemic, this will not be possible for this school year. Therefore, I would love to provide the students with the opportunity to participate in a World Drumming ensemble. Providing the students with the opportunity to participate in a World Drumming ensemble will cultivate hands on learning and curiosity and help the students discover and follow their passions in music. Having the opportunity to play real instruments gives students the opportunity to discover hidden skills and interests they will enjoy now and in the future. The inclusion of these materials helps support my professional goal of providing the students an opportunity to perform in an ensemble while learning various musical concepts.
