With kindergarten changing to a more academic environment, hands-on play learning centers are needed more now than ever. Imagination is such an important part of early education and the children in my class thrive through this learning. With the current state we are in, socialization is being lost. Our students are missing out on important steps of social emotional learning and human interactions. The materials in this project will help create a dramatic play center that my students will engage in throughout each week. This kitchen will be a place for students to learn, play, and socialize together. As students cook, create recipes, and build a family together, their socialization and literacy skills will thrive. I cannot wait to provide my students with this wonderful world of learning!
