Students need to be able to understand science ideas so that they can determine what is going on in the world and what sources they can trust. They can use these materials to help improve their literacy and reading comprehension of science based readings at a level that is appropriate for middle school. Middle School students are at an impressionable age and want to know more about the world around them. These readings can help them further their understanding of basic science ideas using topics that are interesting to them.
